11.03.2025

At the meeting held on 11.03.2025 between Mr. Asa Hutchinson, one of the most reputable, highly esteemed and influential American politicians, member of the U.S. Congress, Administrator of the Drug Enforcement Administration and Under Secretary for Border and Transportation Security of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, Mr. Stoyan Bakalov, former Special Adviser for U.S. and NATO Military Installations in the Balkans, and representatives of one of Bulgaria’s largest construction and investment companies, ARTEKS Engineering, the special guests were familiarised with the ZLATEN VEK Project, conceived and designed to serve as a bridge between modern architectural art and Bulgaria’s heroic history.

“The project, which embodies the spirit and glory of the Golden age of Bulgarian spirituality and literature, represents not merely a unique residential building – an architectural masterpiece, but it is also a cultural centre for the citizens and guests of the capital, incorporating a museum of Bulgarian kings and the History of Bulgarian Orthodoxy, as well as a number of other objects with a public function", architect Vessela Miryanova, Chairman of the Board of ARTEKS ENGINEERING pointed out.

Governor Hutchinson remarked that for his political career, he had never held the position of a mayor, but if he were to be given a chance to be a mayor of an American city, and if such a project were to be presented to him, he would not only wholeheartedly endorse it, but he would also be sincerely impressed by the remarkable talent of the architects who had created it.
